David Simpson, CPM®, RPA®

Vice President, Real Estate Management | Equium Group

David Simpson is Vice President, Real Estate Management at Equium Group, bringing more than 20 years of experience in commercial, residential, and condominium real estate management across Calgary. He oversees complex portfolios that require disciplined governance, financial accountability, and operational oversight, including institutional-grade office, retail, industrial, and condominium assets.

Prior to joining Equium Group, David managed over 3 million square feet of downtown office space, including Calgary’s Bow Valley Square, on behalf of one of Canada’s largest pension funds. His expertise includes condominium governance, capital planning, reserve fund oversight, financial performance management, and regulatory compliance under Alberta’s Condominium Property Act.

David holds the Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management and the Real Property Administrator (RPA®) designation through the Building Owners and Managers Institute. He maintains an Alberta Real Estate License for commercial, residential, and condominium management and is a LEED Green Associate. He is also an active member of the Real Estate Institute of Canada (REIC) and the Building Owners and Managers Association of Canada (BOMA).

Through his leadership at Equium Group, David supports boards, owners, and investors in strengthening governance, improving operational performance, and protecting long-term asset value.
